Standing with one foot in the threshold, we are preparing to fully step into balance. For tomorrow, at 5:24 PM, we will once again welcome the Spring with Ostara, the Vernal Equinox. Standing in balance with equal day and night, we allow the waning Tide of Death to give way to the rising Tide of Life. Through the exchange of these powerful energies, we are reminded that we can also open ourselves up to Life as it ushers in the energies of hope, promise, and rebirth.
There is a stirring and stretching that calls from deep within us. It is time to break open like the sleeping seeds within the earth, peel off our outer shells, and shift into the raw and vulnerable parts of ourselves so we can grow and breach the surface into something new. This moment is a gift.
There is much love and hope in the air right now. Breathe it in. Allow it to fuel the fiery spark of your soul. Feel the heat and light of the sun warm your skin and heart. Again, breathe life into that inner fire. Allow it to melt away the remaining ice and snow within and around you. Remember that this is the time when the sap within the trees begins to flow once more. This happens within us as well. Not only are the rivers of life cresting and flowing, we are awakening to Life’s sweetness once again. As Spring bursts forth, all of Nature reminds us that we can too. We are an integral part in the tapestry of life and have never left it. We are a part of the sacred garden, and the sacred garden is a part of us.
So as you move into your day, how will you welcome the new life that is awakening and emerging all around you? What seeds will you be tending? What do you feel bubbling beneath your surface? What dreams are turning into actions? Are you willing to open yourself up for this new energy that is buzzing all around us? If you are not feeling ready to spring into action at this moment, that is okay too. Remember, not every flower is ready to bloom right now. Even the roses are still resting and preparing for their debut in June.
Be well today. May the blessings of spring and life fulfill you wholly and perfectly.
Much love,

Beautifully written! As we welcome the Spring, I am curious to know, what actions do you personally take during this time of rebirth and renewal? Is there a specific ritual or practice you follow to fully embrace the energies of hope and promise that come with the changing of seasons? Thank you for this inspiring post.

Thank you. I am glad that you enjoyed it. To mark the change of seasons, I celebrate Ostara where I welcome the Goddess, our Lady of Flowers. I also meditate to see what is ready to awaken in me. This is also a time where I like to plant my seeds for the garden while thinking about what I wish to manifest this year. I will also bury an egg with an intention and some offerings to the land and spirits.
